After a lot of critique from my side to Jean Charles, it was evident that the word accountability didn't register with him. As seen in other posts, he deflects mistakes and in other cases lies about making them.
The above image is an email from him where he appears to be helpful, but by this time I had started to communicate with vendors directly because it was taking too long to get answers for menus, florals, and other details about our wedding. What irritated me about this correspondence is the line I boxed. It was petty. It was a bitch comment.
The fact is, he didn't provide all the information with each supplier. I had emailed the events planner at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo whom we met with previously on our first visit to Lake Como. She gave me a list of their vendors and I started to explore who could help me with lighting, sound, florals, and catering. Coincidentally some of the same vendors were used by Jean Charles, but I had to put all the pieces together and this guy had the nerve to act like he was taking the high road.
By this time it was clear to me he never had our best intentions at heart. There was too much pride, and people like that shouldn't be in the wedding business.
